Wrinkles

Wrinkles are a natural part of growing older. Some are what are called dynamic wrinkles, caused by normal muscular function and its attachments to the skin. Others are caused by age and tissue attrition or loss. Wrinkles can be graded based on a 0-3 system. Grade 0 wrinkling would represent no wrinkles or perhaps dynamic wrinkles that disappear after muscular contraction stops. Grade 1 wrinkles are those that are evident only when the face is manually pressed upon or dynamic wrinkles that mostly disappear when muscular activity stops. Grade 2 wrinkles are present on a face at rest, but only upon close inspection. Grade 3 wrinkles are evident from across a room, with attrition or loss, sun damage, and non-disappearing dynamic wrinkling. Treatment options for wrinkles are numerous and varied, depending on the grade of wrinkles and the location.

Wrinkles can be treated with the following procedures: Facelift, Forehead Lift, Microdermabrasion, Infrared Skin Tightening, Botox, Facial Fillers, Chemical Peel, Profractional, South Beach Peel, Micro Laser Peel. Schedule a consultation today to learn more.
