Micro Laser Peel

Micro laser peel

Over time, dead skin builds up on the outside of the epidermis, along with dirt, oil, and other contaminants. Not only that, but irregularities develope underneath the surface of the skin, right down to the living dermis layer. While microdermabrasion removes some of the surface detritus, sometimes a more comprehensive treatment is required. A micro laser peel typically removes skin at 20 to 50 microns, more than double that of a microderm. After a short recovery period, skin is more supple, younger looking, and has fewer blemishes and spots.

As the name suggests, a micro laser peel used small lasers to strip away material at the surface of the skin. Typically, micro laser peels have significantly better results than microderms or other types of peels, but require slightly more down time. This procedure is usually performed several times over a period of a few weeks for maximum results. Feeling of a bad sunburn will linger for a few days after the treatment.
